2005
This year Saturday, September 18th is Mid-Autumn Festival -- the 15th Day of the 8th month of the Chinese Lunar Calendar.
While the moon is round and beautiful, this year and about 50% of the time, the full moon is actually on another day. The full moon will be on September 19th in the USA and the 20th in China.
Consider making it a special night with a family dinner. Let the children out to see it - it's not a school night this year. This full moon really does seem brighter than any other to me.
And if you want to involve the school, read on for ideas. Or share what you have done.
